About Me

I grew up on Long Island, the daughter of two teachers in a family of five children. Education was highly valued.   It has been an honor and tradition to hand over my tassels from college graduations to my father who proudly displays them.

I have always loved working with children from my early days as a classroom teacher to an administrator for Webster Central Schools.  My journey at St. John Fisher began as an adjunct in the Fall of 2004 with Graduate Student Teachers.  In the last four years, I have enjoyed getting to know the Students, Faculty and Staff through teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and supervising students in their field experiences.   It has been an absolute pleasure sharing my knowledge and experience with future teachers and I look forward to building even stronger relationships in my capacity as a full-time member of the faculty.

I live in Pittsford with my husband and two sons.  I am a Labrador Retriever enthusiast and enjoy training and showing dogs in the areas of obedience, conformation, field retrieving and rally.
