Have you ever wondered if those folks on "Star Trek" knew any real science? Are their really such things as "tachyon fields"?

You've probably got a pretty good idea of what someone with an advanced degree in science does -- it's research. But what is there to research in mathematics?

By the way, what it this "MST" thing? I thought Mathematics and Science and Technology were all separate programs.

I've heard that classes in the MST Program aren't taught the way many classes in high school and college are taught. What other ways are there?
