Dr. Arndt is an assistant professor in the Special Education Department of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York.  She was a paraprofessional and teacher in the public schools in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the Rochester, New York area for many years. She left teaching to pursue her Ph.D. in Special Education at Syracuse University and completed her program in 2005. She was a member of the Beyond Compliance Coordinating Committee (BCCC); see the link below for more information.
