Birds are warm blooded vertebrates. They have feathers, two eyes, two feet, two wings, a bill or a beak, and a tail, for starters. Birds have strong, light-weight skeletons, especially if they are flyers. Their bones are hollow, which makes them lighter, for the benefit of flight.
